Yul Kwon meets Terry Engelder, a geologist at Penn State and an expert on the Marcellus Shale rock formation. I was invited to work with the traveling crew on this episode in Ithaca, NY. This segment was particularly challenging because of the weather and remote location. The day started with light snow which turned to heavy snow then sleet and finally freezing rain. Keeping gear warm and dry was challenging.
